BTMA-The types and selection of Benteng oil refining equipment FAQ

Benteng oil refining equipment

Q: What are the main functions of the oil refiner?

A: Edible oil refining equipment is mainly used to refine edible oil to remove various impurities in the edible oil, and realize the functions of dephosphorization and degumming, decolorization, deacidification, drying and deodorization of crude oil.

Q: How does the oil refiner remove the phospholipids?

A: Add a certain amount of hydrogenated phosphoric acid, and the non-hydratable phospholipids in the oil will be converted into hydrated phospholipids after the reaction. In this way, the phospholipid content is greatly reduced, and a better dephosphorization effect can be achieved. Add hot water to the edible oil and stir to make the peptic impurities in the edible oil agglomerate into agglomerates, which are separated from the edible oil after sedimentation.

Q: How does the oil refiner decolorize?

A: In the process of decolorization, clay is used to adsorb the pigment. The waste clay that has adsorbed the pigment can be separated from the edible oil by filtering through a leaf filter. It should be noted that the decolorization operation can be repeated, that is, decolorization and filtration multiple times, until the pigment components in the edible oil meet the requirements.

Q: How does the oil refiner deacidify?

A: There are two ways of deacidification, one is chemical deacidification and the other is physical deacidification. In the chemical deacidification process, lye is added to the edible oil to react with free fatty acids, thereby removing free fatty acids, and at the same time obtaining by-product soapstock, which is the raw material for making soap. The operation process of physical deacidification is mainly carried out in the upper part of the deodorization tower. At a specified temperature, pass high-temperature steam into the deodorization tower, free fatty acids will be precipitated, and at the same time, by-product fatty acids will be obtained.

Q: How does the oil refiner deodorize?

A: Deodorization is carried out in a deodorization tank or a deodorization tower. Under the condition of high temperature and high vacuum, water vapor is introduced into the deodorizing tank or deodorizing tower filled with edible oil. According to the difference in the volatility of water vapor and odorous substances, the odorous substances in edible oil can be separated.

Q: What are the types of oil refiners?

A: We produce and sell refining equipment with different output and different functions, including double-barrel oil refining equipment, 3-barrel oil refining equipment, small 4-barrel oil refining equipment, and standard 4-barrel oil refining equipment.

The double barrel oil refiner can dephosphorize, degummed, deacidify, decolorize, and dehydrate, and the output can reach 1T/D.

The 3-barrel oil refiner can also be dephosphorized, degummed, deacidified, decolorized, and dehydrated, and the output can reach 2T/D.

The small 4-barrel oil refiner can dephosphorize, degummed, deacidify, decolorize, and dehydrate, and the output can reach 3T/D.

The standard 4-barrel oil refiner can dephosphorize, degummed, deacidify, decolorize, dehydrate, and deodorize. The output is 500-700KG/D and 1200KG-1500KG/D, respectively.

Q: How to choose the right oil refiner?

A: Different edible oils require different oil refining stages, so it is not necessary to purchase oil refining equipment. For example, peanut oil can directly become national first-class oil as long as it is decolorized and deodorized, while rapeseed must undergo dephosphorization and degreasing. Cottonseed oil needs to be demoulded, and corn oil only needs to be decolorized, sugared and degummed. Different oil treatment methods are different, and some parts are meaningless. When purchasing a complete set of oil extraction equipment and refining equipment, we must understand our purpose and propose a procurement plan that suits our production needs.
