What are the raw materials pressed by the oil press?

raw materials pressed by the BTMA oil press

There are many kinds of raw materials that can be pressed by the screw oil press, such as: soybeans, sesame seeds, peanuts, sunflower seeds, pepper seeds, corn germ, camellia oleifera seeds, rapeseed, etc. These raw materials for oil presses are all relatively nutritious. No matter which raw material you choose to press oil, you must choose a good quality oil press to achieve the most economical and productive results.

1. Soybean

Soybean is a very common raw material used in oil presses. It has an oil content of 15.6%-22.5% and a protein content of 35%-45%. It is a high-quality high-protein oil. The unsaturated fatty acid content in soybean oil is as high as more than 60%, of which the linoleic acid content is 52.1% and the linolenic acid content is 2%-10%. It is a plant material with great nutritional value.

2. Peanuts

Peanuts are also often used in screw oil presses. They are an important shelled soft oil with high oil content. The kernel content of peanuts is 65%-75%, and the kernels contain 40%-51% oil and 25%-31% protein. They are one of the most important lipid and protein resources.

3. Sesame

Sesame is the oldest edible oil in the world and is known as the “Queen of Oils”. Because the oil content of sesame is as high as 45%-63%, and the protein content is 19-31%. It contains 43% oleic acid and 43% linoleic acid, which has extremely high nutritional value. In addition, sesame oil has stable chemical properties and is very durable for storage. The taste is fragrant and worth remembering.

Finally, BTMA would like to remind everyone that no matter which raw material you choose for oil extraction, you must be careful when choosing oil press equipment to avoid wasting raw materials.
