There are two types of peanut oil pressing with shell and without shell. If it is shelled peanuts, we need to equip a peanut shelling machine, first shelling and then squeezing, because this can improve the oil processing capacity and oil yield. The extraction of peanut oil can be divided into cold pressing and hot pressing. Below I will show you the two methods of extracting peanut oil.

Peanut oil cold pressing process:

1. Clean up

The peanut cleaning process is the process of removing impurities. The removal of impurities is beneficial to storage and transportation, improves the quality of grease and oil yield, and reduces equipment wear. We will remove the rocks, soil, stems and leaves contained in the peanuts. The impurity content must not exceed 0.2%. When cleaning peanuts, we often use a flat rotary sieve to clean peanuts.

2. Drying

Drying peanuts is to reduce the moisture content of peanut kernels, facilitate peeling, and reduce protein denaturation. In the process of drying peanuts, the temperature is required to be within 60 degrees.

3. Peeling

We need to peel the peanut kernels that are cooled to about 40 degrees after drying, so that the peeling rate can reach 98%, and the peeling can increase the oil yield of the oil.

4. Broken

Peanut crushing is to increase the surface area of the oil, which is conducive to softening and increasing the oil yield. The particle size of peanut crushing requires 6-8 petals, and the moisture content is controlled between 7%-12%.

5. Squeeze

We choose a round row oil press for cold pressing, and the cold pressing temperature is controlled below 60 degrees, so that the oil yield is high. The thickness of the cake is controlled at 0.7-1.33mm. Cold pressing is generally not clean, and it needs to be pressed twice and three times.

6. Filter

Commonly used equipment for filtration includes plate and frame oil filter, vacuum oil filter, and air pressure oil filter. We generally recommend the plate and frame oil filter, which is cheap, easy to use, and clean. But we can recommend a suitable oil filter according to customer needs.

Disadvantages of cold pressing: (1) One-time pressing is not clean and needs to be pressed repeatedly (2) The oil has no hot pressing fragrance
